Start here: copy this and fill in the offer and branch
Use the provider’s published contact details. Start with service and cost questions; discuss medical history with the professional assessing you.
Tick a question after you have checked the answer. Completing the list records the information you gathered; suitability still needs a professional assessment.
“I saw this offer. Which machine brand and model does this branch use? Is it a handpiece on the skin or a procedure with needles? Which parts of the area are included?”
Look for: Ask for the answer in WhatsApp or on the quote. For massage or wraps, ask for the technique, products, use of heat and duration instead.
If it is unclear: If the answer is “latest technology” or “premium slimming”, ask to speak to someone who can explain the service before paying a deposit.
“How many visits does this price cover, and how long is each visit? For fat freezing, how many applicator cycles are included? Does the price cover both sides?”
Look for: The quote should count the visits and treatment units. Example: one visit, two applicator cycles, one on each arm. This explains quantity, rather than a treatment recommendation.
If it is unclear: If the reply is just “one area”, ask them to define that area and the included quantity before comparing prices.
“What is the total I pay to complete this trial? Does it include consultation, consumables, products and any applicable tax? Is anything else compulsory?”
Look for: Get one final amount, with extras listed. If GST is already included, enter 0% in our calculator’s tax field.
If it is unclear: If you get a “from” price, request a total for the service you asked about before deciding to book.
“Can I buy just this trial? Is it for first-time customers only? Must I pay a deposit, buy products or sign a package?”
Look for: Look for a clear answer about buying one visit. If a package is required, compare its total cost.
If it is unclear: If they say “we explain when you arrive”, ask whether you can book a consultation first and what that consultation costs.
“When does the package expire? What are the cancellation or rescheduling charges? If I use two visits and stop, can I refund or transfer the balance, and how is it calculated?”
Look for: Request the contract and find the expiry, cancellation and refund paragraphs. Compare them with what the salesperson told you.
If it is unclear: If a verbal refund promise conflicts with the contract, ask for written clarification before paying.
“Who checks whether this is suitable for me, and who performs it? If a doctor is involved, can you give me their name so I can check the official register?”
Look for: Reception can arrange an appointment. Direct questions about your history, implants and suitability to the professional responsible for assessing you.
If it is unclear: If reception cannot name the operator yet, ask when you will know and whether you can consult before deciding to purchase.
“Please send the patient or consumer information for this machine. What side effects can occur, and when should I contact you? Can I discuss this with the person assessing me before treatment?”
Look for: Find the risks, suitability restrictions and aftercare contact instructions in the document. Different machines need their own information.
If it is unclear: If you only receive a brochure or result photos, request the risk information too. A qualified professional should assess how it applies to you.
“Which number do I call if I have a problem afterwards? Who assesses it, and are follow-up visits charged? Please send the quote and terms. I will read them and get back to you.”
Look for: Save the advert, chat, quote and contract, with the branch and date.
If it is unclear: If you are asked to sign on the spot, take the documents home first. You can check later whether the offer is still available.
